About the Presenter:
Thomas Churilla is a third year medical student and member of the charter class at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He has been grateful to work with Drs. Christopher Peters and Harmar Brereton on numerous research projects at Northeast Radiation Oncology Center in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. He received his B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Scranton in 2009, where he was elected into the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit honor society. Outside of medicine, he likes to wakeboard and water ski, weight train, and catch an occasional Phillies game. Upon graduation from medical school, he plans on pursuing a residency in radiation oncology with an emphasis on clinical research.
